Creative Impressions is a company developed in 2008 by the students and staff of a special needs classroom within the Livingston Educational Service Agency (LESA).

Creative Impressions provides students the opportunity to learn vocational skills through the actual hands-on production of a desired product.

All of our products are handmade by the students, who range in age from 19-26 years of age. They work cooperatively in an assembly line fashion.

Our goal is to teach students a variety of skills that they can utilize in the future. Our hope is that our students will develop skills that will enable them to live and work as independently as possible in the community.

Greeting cards, invitations, and handmade gifts are just a few of the products that we offer.

In 2013 Creative Impressions won the 2013 Entrepreneurial Classroom Award from the Michigan Council for Exceptional Children. This award is awarded to a classroom that enriches students' community involvement, focusing on their ability to produce and sell a product and develop social skills. The winning classroom is provided a booth in the MCEC exhibition hall to participate in the selling of their products to conference participants.
